
The Güntner-Tata Ltd was founded in 1990 by Hans Güntner GmbH and Tata Hűtőtechnika Kft. and it is located in Tata. Between 1990 and 2008, the production area expanded from 2,000 m² to 33,000 m², and the number of people working in the administration and production areas increased 20 times over the years, to 950. As a result of this dynamic development, the factory has become the largest production plant of the Güntner Group in recent years. The previous integrated HR system used by the company group did not work as expected, so they choose a new one.
With the introduction of NEXON's integrated HR system, the goal was to automate the payroll and labor administration to a large extent. Interview with HR manager Judit Pintér.
On what basis did you decide to implement NEXON's integrated HR system?
We introduced NEXON's system in January 2019 and have been using it ever since.
We implemented a previous, integrated system 3 years ago at the company group level, we faced many shortcomings, so we decided to change it. Of course, persuasive arguments were needed towards the ownership group; it spoke in favor of NEXON, that with NEXON's system, among other things, planning is possible, since the software can also plan capacity. We were looking for an effective integrated system that includes elements such as time registration, the ability to plan, self-service interfaces, all of which make our everyday operations easier, since we have more than 10 types of work schedules.
Before the decision, market research was carried out, and we also looked at and visited some reference companies.
How many employees HR tasks are performed with the help of NEXON?
We handle the HR tasks of nearly 1,600 people with the NEXON system. 70 percent of the employees are blue-collar workers and 30 percent are white-collar workers. The self-service system, NEXON_PORT, is very popular, everyone can manage their own data, and the managers can also see the data of their subordinates. There is no need to report to the HR department constantly, but it is an independent user-friendly, easy-to-use system that everyone can manage on their own.
The NEXON_PORT system facilitates the work of the HR department and simplifies HR processes.
By using the web-based, interactive communication solution, all employees of the company can be involved in HR-related processes. In practice, unlimited communication is realized, we can respond to needs immediately.
How was the introduction? What advantages does NEXON's system provide compared to the programs you used before?
This is not our first human resources management system, so the introduction was carried out by experienced employees on our part, and it went smoothly and problem-free. If we had any questions, they were quickly clarified with NEXON's expert support.
In addition to the previously mentioned advantages, I would also like to highlight legal compliance, since NEXON follows the regulations up to date, thus providing a framework for our operation.
What kind of feedback did you get from the employees?
When introducing NEXON, we appointed a pilot team, and first we based it on their experience. They really like, gladly and easily use intuitive interfaces.
Currently, the system is mostly used by white-collar colleagues and by the group leaders of our blue-collar employees. Among other things, our plans include user-level access and the creation of terminals for all of our blue-collar colleagues.
