
Mega-Logistic Zrt. is one of Hungary's largest privately owned facilities management and investment companies. In 2016, they chose the NEXON payroll system for the payroll and labor tasks of their workforce of more than 1,100 employees. Interview with Márta Patona the HR manager of the company.
What were your expectations when choosing the payroll software and how did you like NEXON's system?
Our primary concern was the continuous, up-to-date legal compliance of the payroll software, so that the payroll process takes into account the current legislation. Reliability was important, as well as quick and correct assistance in the event of a problem.
In addition to operating as a company group, several people currently use the program on a daily basis, and we can all work at the same time, even in all companies.
The electronic payslip was also introduced last year - why did you decide to go with the digital form instead of paper and how was it received?
We wanted to reduce the time spent on administrative tasks - paper-based printing, distribution of payslips. More and more of our colleagues use computers, so the digital payslip will reach them much faster after the transfer. You don't have to worry about it being destroyed, because you can look at your old payslips at any time.
Are there any other areas where you would like to move further in digitalization?
It would be a big step towards the reduction of administration if all our manual workers had access to the electronic payroll.
We would also like to use the schedule planning module, which would mean greater security so that employee schedules can be prepared quickly and in accordance with current legislation.
