In What Proportion Did The Voting for NEXON's HUF 3 million donation close?

Based on more than 1,200 votes, we announce the results of the 2023 year-end votes

At the beginning of December, we asked our partners to be part of the joy of giving gifts and to help decide with their votes how to divide our HUF 3 million donation between the four foundations selected by NEXON.

Thanks that more than thousand people considered this goal important and cast their vote, which resulted in the following result:

  • The Autism Foundation receives HUF 1,100,000 to maintain and develop the operation of their adult club
  • HUF 1,100,000 was voted for the program of the Lámpás ’92 Foundation Warm from the Heart - With clean energy for the green home of tomorrow
  • We support the Noé Állatotthon (Animal Shelter) Foundation with HUF 500,000 so that the puppy socialization kennels can be implemented
  • With HUF 300,000, based on the votes, we can contribute to the complex art series Pastorale of the Szent István Király Music Foundation in Vigado in Pest

Once again, we present the foundations' goals for this year, for which we grant the above amount of support based on the votes:

Autism Foundation
Operation and development of the Adult Club

Adults living with autism and their parents participate in the program, and according to experience so far, it is very popular and fills a gap. In terms of their symptoms and abilities, the clients cover the entire spectrum of autism, their ages are between 17 and 55.
The methodology and professional principles used in the club are based on modern, scientific results related to autism, so the professional effect of the program goes beyond providing a pleasant leisure program and preventing loneliness. Three professional functions of the Club can be highlighted: it provides an opportunity to spend free time socially in a barrier-free environment, it provides group social development adapted to the level of ability and it provides a space for the self-help group of accompanying parents.

Lámpás ’92 Public Foundation
Warm from the heart - With clean energy for tomorrow's green home

For thirty years now, the foundation has provided housing, employment, and art training for hundreds of people with disabilities, as well as care for needy children in a family environment.
In order to expand and develop their existing institutional system, they bought the old doctor's office in Kemence, where they create a home for 12 people with intellectual disabilities, provide care, work and development activities. They also set up a special hospice department in the home because they are committed to accompanying those entrusted to them throughout their lives.
In addition, in Kemence, in cooperation with the Mayor's Office and the Catholic parish, an employment center is being established, which as an open workshop provides community life for the elderly and sensitizing programs for the area's kindergarteners and schoolchildren.

NOÉ Animal Shelter Public Foundation
Creating puppy socialization kennels

Unfortunately, the crisis is also hitting animal protection organizations hard. In addition to skyrocketing prices, there are fewer and fewer responsible adopters, and the number of animals in need has never been so high. This probably affects puppies the most. In most cases, they grow up here in the shelter, living in a kennel during the most sensitive period of socialization and learning.

They started a new program so that the puppies growing up with them get the best possible start, since a well-socialized puppy has a better chance of being adopted and can more successfully hold its place in its family and the challenges of being a dog in the city. In the framework of this, they want to create 2 kennels for them (with benches, dog toys), where visitors can come in and deal with the little lurkers under professional guidance.

Szent István Király Music Foundation
Pastorale – a complex art series in Pesti Vigado

According to surveys, 1% of young people go to classical music concerts. The purpose of the Pastorale series is to promote the artistic education of children and young people, and to educate the concert-going audience of the future. The programs are characterized by their complexity: in addition to live music, they include film, dance, puppet shows, acting productions, musical instrument demonstrations, and discussions.
In 2024, the Szent István Philharmonic Orchestra intends to continue its highly successful Pastorale family series, in which, among other things, they will invite the 50-year-old Vujiccs ensemble, as well as a Japanese pianist, meet Werner, the musician of the Eszterházy family, and watch Humperdinck's fairy-tale opera Jancsi and Juliska. They are asking for your support to implement the program.
