The American Chamber of Commerce in Hungary (AmCham) announced on **July 3, 2025** its newly appointed committee leaders. Among them, **Szilvia Bogdán**, currently HR Director at NEXON, was elected as the **Chair of the AmCham HR Committee** for the upcoming term.
Szilvia Bogdán has nearly three decades of experience in strategic HR leadership, organizational development, digital HR technology implementation and leadership development. She has enriched her experience through leadership roles in international and Hungarian-owned companies: in FMCG companies, in the commercial sector, in global service centers, and in the pharmaceutical sector.
He is a regular speaker and moderator at professional conferences and forums. He also actively participates in international roundtables, professional collaborations, educational and mentoring programs.
She represents the decision-support role and organizational embeddedness of HR, and is a committed ambassador for the digital employee experience. Szilvia’s professional focus is on supporting workplace transformation through HR digitalization, the responsible use of artificial intelligence, and performance and succession planning. Her systematic thinking and cross-sectoral experience enable her to shape the future of the Hungarian HR profession with a broad, strategic perspective.
He has been strengthening the NEXON team as HR Director since 2019. As a member of the NEXON Board of Directors, he is actively involved in the strategic shaping of digital HR solutions. As a leader, he is committed to diversity and an inclusive corporate culture.
He has been an active member of the AmCham HR Committee since 2019.

In her vision for the period 2025 – 2027, Szilvia highlights that the true value-creating power of the HR profession unfolds when it functions as a community space, where local practices and global thinking are truly connected. In the coming period, the aim of the AmCham HR Committee is to expand a real professional, business and community HR space, which, for example:
• gives space to future-shaping HR topics (AI, Future of Work, wellbeing),
• provides an opportunity for practice-oriented knowledge sharing,
• further strengthens personal community connections and encounters.
